Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Busch Gardens is 335-acre amusement and exotic animal park. It is eight miles northeast of downtown Tampa. All of the 3,000 animals on exhibit are from Africa. One of the park's main attractions is the Serengeti Safari that provides an up-close truck tour of the animals. There are 22 rides at the park, including six roller coasters. Recently a Sesame Street themed area for children has been added. Busch Gardens offers 16 unique places to dine for snacks or a fine meal. Walt Disney World Walt Disney World, located just outside of Orlando, is the world's largest vacation resort enveloping 25,000 acres. Disney World boasts four different theme parks--Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom is the main theme park and is modeled after Disney Land in Anaheim. The resort also houses 24 hotels, a shopping center, two water parks, golf courses and a nightlife area. No other resort on Earth is visited more often than Walt Disney World. Gatorland Gatorland, known as the "Alligator Capital of the World," has been a family-owned theme park in Orlando for over half a century. It is a 110-acre wildlife preserve and theme park which is home to thousands of alligators as well as a few other select reptiles. The park's main attraction is the live alligator wrestling shows. Visitors are able to pet the alligators if they'd like. A small train runs through the park providing visitors an opportunity to view alligators in their natural habitat. Gatorland's gift shop sells all alligator-related items including full grown stuffed alligators.
